The East Midlands of the United Kingdom have gained a new art gallery, in the shape of the new Nottingham Contemporary. It’s opening exhibition features both David Hockney, ‘England’s favorite painter’, and Frances Stark from Los Angeles.

 
Last week saw Primavera Club take over the music scenes in Barcelona and Madrid. There were concerts everyday, too many to manage! We went to as many as we could, and saw a nice range of bands.

Napa Valley is a famous wine region located in the area known as North Bay, about 90 miles north of San Francisco, California. The valley hosts about 300 wine producers spread over 48 square kilometres through the counties of Napa, Yountville, Rutherford, St. Helena, and Calistoga. A visit to Napa Valley is the perfect excuse rent a car, cross the Golden Gate and an ideal opportunity to enjoy a lovely day trip.

I wish these pictures could show fully what a great impression this winter trip made on me. To start with, we rented a car in Athens and decided to venture into the Peloponnese, traveling with only the Lonely Planet guide and no hotel reservations.

Salvador de Bahía is a unique city with a strong identity, which visitors will certainly not feel indifferent about. For travelers to north east Brazil, it is without doubt a must see attraction.
